Benefit show for Gods & Queens

As you may know, Gods & Queens got in to a terrible car accident a few days ago. Now they are stuck with medical bills and a Drummer who's fucked up. They had to cancel their tour dates. Thats why we are playing a benefit show for them at the Vera club in Groningen, the Netherlands on saturday december the 3th . If you want to support this great band in any way, please show up and bring some money. Hope to see you then. Thanx!

About BRITO

BRITO
Brito (pronounce: Breetoo) is a noise/hardcore trio from Groningen, The Netherlands. The band was formed in 2006 by Pascal (guitar, vocals) and Ariën (bass, vocals). While searching for a drummer, they start writing songs in the veins of bands like Shotmaker , Unwound and The Red Scare. From the outset Ariën and Pascal had intended the key characteristic of the music of Brito to be energy. Musically, the main influences of Brito come from the nineties: driving, noisy hardcore with screamed emotional vocals. In January 2008 the band recorded the 12 inch "This Wave is Only for the Good-Hearted, with Maarten van den Werf on drums, that is released as a split-label release of De Graanrepubliek (Groningen, The Netherlands) and of Strictly No Capital Letters (Norwich, England). Through 2008 they performed on Thrashfest and toured the Netherlands an the UK. When Maarten left the band Johannes took up the drumsticks and Brito was happy again. Brito is about to start recording a follow-up. This will be a split 12' with Grinding Halt, for a late 2011 release.
